  • 1 June - World Milk Day: The date of June 1 was chosen because many countries already celebrated Milk Day at that time of year.   • 14 June - World Blood Donor Day: Celebrating Blood Donor Day was started by the World Health Organization in the year 2004. Since then, Blood Donation Day started being celebrated every year on 14th June. On this day people are made aware about blood donation. 
  • 16 June - Father’s Day: ‘Father’s Day’ is celebrated every year by children to express their feelings towards their father and express their gratitude towards him. This day is celebrated on the third Sunday of the month of June. Which will be celebrated this time on 16th June. This year ‘Father’s Day’ will be celebrated on 16th June.
  • 21 June -  International Yoga Day: The first International Yoga day was celebrated on June 21,2015. The objective of International Yoga Day is to increase awareness about yoga. Apart from this the aim is to encourage people around the world to adopt a healthy lifestyle. It is a reminder of the importance of physical and mental well being.  
  • 23 June - International Olympic Day: On this day the International Olympic Committee was founded in the Sorbonne in Paris. Pierre de Coubertin rallied on 23 June 1894 to revive the ancient Olympic Game. In memory of this, every year this day is celebrated as international Olympic Day.
