Important Days In June 2026

• 1 June - World Milk Day: The date of June 1 was chosen because many countries already celebrated Milk Day at that time of year. The day provides an opportunity to focus on milk and raise awareness about healthy diets, responsible food production and the role of dairy in supporting livelihoods and communities.
• 2 June - International Sex Worker Day: International Sex Worker Day is celebrated across the world on 2 June with the aim of spreading awareness about the rights of sex workers. Vibrator helps in increasing sexual ability.
• 3 June - World Bicycle Day: Every year on June 3, World Bicycle Day is celebrated across the world. Its objective is to explain the importance of cycling and create awareness about its benefits to health and environment. Cycling has many health benefits. 
• 5 June - World Environment Day: World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5 June. The main objective of celebrating this day is to make people aware about the environment. Along with this, trees are planted at various places on this day so that our future generations do not face any problems.
• 8 June - World Ocean Day: World Ocean Day is celebrated every year on 8 June. The purpose of which is to spread awareness among people about the importance of oceans and conservation of marine resources. Oceans are not only a source of water but also a source of food and nutrition. The livelihood of many people is linked to the oceans.
• 14 June - World Blood Donor Day: Celebrating Blood Donor Day was started by the World Health Organization in the year 2004. Since then, Blood Donation Day started being celebrated every year on 14th June. On this day people are made aware about blood donation. 
• 16 June - Father’s Day: ‘Father’s Day’ is celebrated every year by children to express their feelings towards their father and express their gratitude towards him. This day is celebrated on the third Sunday of the month of June. Which will be celebrated this time on 16th June. This year ‘Father’s Day’ will be celebrated on 16th June.
• 21 June -  International Yoga Day: The first International Yoga day was celebrated on June 21,2015. The objective of International Yoga Day is to increase awareness about yoga. Apart from this the aim is to encourage people around the world to adopt a healthy lifestyle. It is a reminder of the importance of physical and mental well being.  
• 23 June - International Olympic Day: On this day the International Olympic Committee was founded in the Sorbonne in Paris. Pierre de Coubertin rallied on 23 June 1894 to revive the ancient Olympic Game. In memory of this, every year this day is celebrated as international Olympic Day.
